This is a study of the places people go to find others or be alone. The places where people and alcohol mix.

Interesting bars and cafés, fabulous lighting, interesting faces, tremendous stories… what more could a photographer want?

I’ve selflessly dedicated the last twenty years of my life to this project. I know… but someone had to do it.

Lucky I ended up as Photographer in The Red Lion!

The work was the subject of a three month solo exhibition at HIP – Hull International Photography Gallery.
